Therapeutic Approach

Emotional distress from endometriosis often stems more from invalidation than pain itself; years of dismissal, minimisation ("just a bad period"), or inadequate responses compound psychological impact. This practice validates such experiences as legitimate therapeutic territory.

A systems-oriented methodology integrates body, mind, and spirit, addressing pain, grief, relationships, vocational impacts, and identity shifts as interconnected aspects of lived experience. Counselling complements medical care exclusively.

This counselling does not constitute medical care. Diagnosis, pharmacotherapy, surgical excision, and fertility evaluation reside with general practitioners or gynaecologists; specialist endometriosis surgeons handle operative concerns. This service targets exclusively emotional and relational dimensions.
