Online Counselling, Anywhere in South Africa
Online counselling delivers equivalent primary healthcare-level support to clients throughout South Africa via secure video. This systems-oriented practice promotes wholeness across body, mind, and spirit.
Sessions maintain full confidentiality from any private location. I am an ASCHP-registered Specialist Wellness Counsellor (SWC24/5059) with an Honours degree in Psychology from SACAP.
Session Process
- 1. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation via WhatsApp (076 733 6597) or email [email protected]. This no-obligation discussion assesses fit.
- 2. Confirm session timing, including evenings and weekends by arrangement to accommodate schedules.
- 3. Receive a secure video link via confidential platform (no app installation required; modern browser sufficient).
- 4. Join from a preferred private space—bedroom, parked vehicle, garden corner—ensuring uninterrupted dialogue.
Effectiveness Evidence
Research consistently demonstrates that video counselling yields outcomes comparable to in-person therapy for common concerns (anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, bereavement). Therapeutic alliance—the core mechanism of change—establishes equivalently online.
Many clients report enhanced efficacy from home-based sessions: pre-existing safety, eliminated travel anxiety, and environmental familiarity facilitating sensitive disclosures.
Technical Requirements
- Stable internet connection (mobile data acceptable).
- Camera/microphone-equipped device (smartphone, tablet, laptop).
- Private space for session duration.
- Headphones recommended for audio privacy.
Suitable Client Locations & Concerns
